INTEL Pelican Aplha & Beta, Bayan Lepas, Penang

The Intel Pelican Project is a major industrial expansion located within the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone (FIZ), Pulau Pinang, forming part of Intel Corporation’s long-term investment in advanced semiconductor manufacturing and packaging facilities. The development supports growth in assembly, test and advanced packaging capabilities as part of Intel’s broader multi-phase facility expansion in Malaysia.

For this project, Colt Engineering was engaged to deliver specialised fire safety systems, including the fire alarm system, VESDA aspirating smoke detection system, and firemen intercom system, ensuring enhanced fire detection and communication capabilities in accordance with stringent industrial safety standards.
